Each mug is a large high quality 21-ounce Gibson Elite Stoneware mug. The art on the front of the mug is hand sculpted, painted, and protected with varnish. Can you use these mugs? Yes! But please read the care instructions below before purchasing. These are meant to be a display piece of art/statement mug that gets minimal to moderate use. How well the art stands up to time will depend on the care given. These are not an everyday typical use kind of mug .
As these decorations are handmade, no two will look exactly the same. There may be slight differences to color, size, shape etc but I do my best to make them as similar to the original as possible:)
The mugs are a matte black on the outside with a colorful glaze on the inside. We carry red, blue, sand and green. We no longer offer the option to choose due to high order volumes and how easy it is to mix them up. Your mug will come on one of the four colors and will be a surprise, but rest assured we match designs with their complimentary colors :)
READ BEFORE PURCHASING
CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Your mug should be at room temperature before pouring water into it, never use freshly boiled water as the sudden temperature change can cause cold ceramic to crack. Let the boiled water sit for at least 5 minutes before pouring. Please be aware that despite the bottom of the mug saying these are dishwasher/microwave safe because they are kiln fired, the mugs are gentle handwash ONLY to protect the design. Polymer clay cannot be put in the dishwasher, freezer, or microwave. Do not scrub or use abrasives on the design. Do not leave to soak submerged in water. Clean with soft washcloth, or non-abrasive sponge only and dish soap.
PROCESSING TIMES/SHIPPING: Please note the estimated delivery window provided to you at checkout by Shopify. I have a minimum 4-6 week processing time before an order is shipped depending on my current work load. I work at a pace that protects my hands ,so sometimes I am faster and other times I am working at the longer end of my processing times if Im feeling a bit sore. Please be advised that this may mean your order will arrive after the estimated delivery time provided to you at checkout, but I do my best to get your order finished as quickly as possible. Your order will be sent with Expedited Shipping unless you choose to upgrade to Xpress at checkout. If you are concerned about a delivery window/date or if your order is for a gift or special event, please reach out to us before purchasing to we can give you a better idea of our current shipping times.
DAMAGE/LOSS: All mug shipping options provide tracking and insurance for loss. This means, if your package is lost (confirmed by carrier), we are happy to either replace or refund your purchase. Be aware that there is a claim process with Shopify that will require your participation. We provide direction with this if it occurs. If your mug arrives damaged/broken (we do our best with packing but it still happens occasionally unfortunately) we will either replace your mug or refund your purchase. Proof of damage must be provided within 48 hrs of delivery.
IF YOU PURCHASE MORE THAN ONE MUG: As shipping rates fluctuate, we charge a flat rate per mug. However, if it costs us less to ship it, we ALWAYS refund the shipping overages. Meaning once your package is ready to go and we have purchased the shipping label, we will refund your overages (if there are any) when we send you your tracking number.
IF YOU PURCHASE EARRINGS WITH YOUR MUG: It will all be packaged together and you will only be charged the cost of mug shipping. The insurance for loss will cover all items in your package but will require your participation with the Shopify claim. If any earrings are damaged, we will refund/replace them.
REFUNDS: Once orders have shipped, they are a final sale. We are happy to cancel and refund an order if it has not shipped yet. We do not accept returns or exchanges. Please contact us if there is an issue with your order.
